GHVF (Golden Horseshoe Venture Forum) is an industry lead, non-profit organization that was established in 2000 with the mandate of fostering the growth of entrepreneurs by connecting new businesses to investors and business service providers.
Over the past 10 years GHVF has become ‘a come to’ source for strategic relationships among Golden Horseshoe businesses. In this period of time it has connected 139 new companies to local investors and service providers as well as presented 51 outstanding keynote speakers to educate local businesses. The GHVF meets 5 times a year at the Burlington Golf and Country Club.
The GHVF governance model is made up of a Board whose current membership includes: Len Lucier, Deloitte; Paul Lupinacci, Hewick Research Inc.; Paul Nystrom, TD Canada Trust; Mark Elliott, Venture Accelerator Partners; and Jonathan Wellum, Rocklinc Investment Partners Inc. And our non-voting community affiliates BitNet and Silicone Halton. Forum Chairman is Jonathan Wellum, Rocklinc Investment Partners Inc.
