We are pleased to announce the next GHVF for December 7th 2011 at the Burlington Golf and Country Club.

The theme of this session is: Is Smaller Better? – Example: Credit Unions

Credit unions have been a quiet force in the Ontario market place offering cooperative banking services to their communities. Customers are known as “members” since they “own” the credit union and are rewarded for doing business with the credit union through profit sharing. Is there a future for smaller businesses in Ontario as evidenced by the community based banking model? Legislation now exists to allow a national credit union. Will that change the landscape for credit unions and their effect on small businesses?

We are pleased to announce Jack Vanderkooy, President and CEO of DUCA Financial Services Credit Union, as our guest speaker.

Featured Firms: To Be Announced.

Sign up for our newsletter in order to receive updates and information.

Note: Registration for the event is now open.
